BEHIND ROOM 502

Room 502 is a story of lives.
Room 502 is a story of convictions.
Room 502 is a story that is written every day.

When Steve & Sophie met in Paris, a very strong platonic friendship ensued. For the following year, they would meet up almost everyday for lunch to discuss Life, Family, Fashion, Music, Philosophy, Religion or whatever they fancied. Steve later moved to NY, in an apartment at the Chelsea Hotel. A few months after Sophie came to visit. They never separated ; for the next 2 years ROOM 502 was the backdrop to their romance and bohemian adventures. As per Steve’s Father once said; “You have something special; It is very rare to see two people as connected as you both are” – the rest is history

Impeccable quality, responsibly produced and respectful of humanity and the environment.

Overproduction and excessive consumption has inundated the world with goods and intolerable practices, effecting unfair wages and environmental pollution. That said, we all need to work, create, make a living. Bearing this in mind, we simply want to make an amazing product, in the most ethical way possible.

Sophie Theallet:
Award wining designer

“Sophie is quite a character–uncompromising and loyal, in friendship and in life. When she was working here in Paris with me, it was always very intense; we worked a lot but we had a lot of fun as well, because she was always full of energy and positivity. I was so happy for Sophie when I saw Mrs. Obama wearing one of her dresses.

Sophie has always been deeply determined, and she has worked greatly for her success. She has created a lovely style, feminine, elegant, but unassuming. She deserves all her success and I’m incredibly happy for her. She began as my right hand, and now she is my friend.”
